Chub Check-in

We arrived at Chub Cay Bahamas yesterday afternoon in the middle of another thunder shower. This time we welcomed the post passage boat wash although the lack of visibility made anchoring a bit more challenging.

Customs and Immigration were processed with typical colonial bureacracy but efficiently enough. We have so far managed to avoid paying the $100 'landing fee' at Chu Cay Club and talked them into allowing us to keep Interlude anchored outside the marina during the clearance procedure which involves filling out a profusion of forms and taking their shuttle bus 5 minutes to the airport.

Today we will remain anchored out and do some snorkeling on nearby Mama Rhoda rocks.

Everything aboard is working so far including the new dinghy which has a much nicer ride than the old one.
